Hi! Thanks for visiting my site. If you're here it's probably because you love parks and getting outside as much as I do.
My love for parks started in 2017 when I found myself on maternity leave, in Coquitlam and living in a townhouse.
Like many people living in BC, owning a detached home with a big yard just wasn't an option for me so I started exploring all the great parks in Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody (and beyond)!
I think it's really important kids get to play outside, take risks and be in the sunshine. Parks are free, fun and a great way to bond with little people. Plus my kid naps SO well after a good park session. It's a win-win.
My hope is that this blog will help you find the right park for your family. Maybe your kid is potty training and you need a toilet close by. Maybe your kid is a runner and a fenced in park is a life-saver. Maybe shade and water-fountains matter to you. Whatever it is that makes your perfect park, I want to help you find it so you can spend more time outside with the kids you love.
