The River Concept: Interactive Design Inspired by Nature
This free play concept uses the natural form, flow and shape of water and stepping stones to encourage interaction and exploration. Movable weirs (water dams) were used to create shallow pools and water channels, mimicking the natural flow of a river. The Panorama Spray park includes three water columns, overhead spray components, a spiral tunnel, five jet spray heads, a water cannon, a small sun deck, a wading zone, one bubbler, several finger sprays, ponds with flowing channels, and streams manipulated with weirs.
