Ailsa spray park is a great spray park tucked away in Port Moody near SFU. This shady spray park is open "weather permitting" 10am-8pm (mid-May until September) and has shaded benches and picnic tables. It also has a big rope climbing feature for kids (no shade).
Though not officially part of the park, nearby schools offer two great play structures you can access when school is out that round out this park nicely. No washrooms though, so go before you go.
