Hume Park (New Westminster)

Ok so this park isn't *technically* in the Tri-Cities, but it is very very very close to Coquitlam!

This park has a structure for 5-12s and one for tots, a spray park and a pool with two slides! Two sets of washrooms, trails along the river and tons of picnic tables round off this well designed park. Plus is gets major points for being Skytain accessible, just a short walk from the Braid Skytrain station.

One neat feature about this spray park is the ground is rubber: "" This new attractive surface can withstand weather, is easy to maintain and provides traction for little feet scampering around the new water features." (City of New Westminster Website)

• Change tables: No, but upper park has a change room with bences that could be used in a pinch

• Food: Hume Park Goodies Concession June 23 - September 3 Daily 12:00 - 4:00 pm

• Water feature: Spray park & Pool. The pool is generally open, 1:15 - 8:00 pm, from the last weekend in June to Labour Day (fair weather days).

• Picnic tables: Yes, covered & uncovered (12 are bookable and covered in Lower Hume park - with a power and a charcoal bin).
